Tucson Record for a Luxury Home Sale

May 2007 saw the record for a residential home sale in Tucson at $4.95 million.

The Saguaro Ranch home is 5,300-square-feet and sits on over four acres of property. The home is north of West Tangerine and North Thornydale roads and has three bedrooms, four fireplaces, five baths, a pool and spa and three car garage.

This sale solidifies the trend of higher valued home sales in the luxury real estate market being the 67th Tucson home this year to sell for over a million dollars.

Though this home sets a record for the MLS (Multiple Listing Service), there are other homes in Tucson that sell in the same price range never heard about because they're privately commissioned.

Two other homes remain on the market with similar asking prices. The Saguaro Ranch home was originally listed at $5.95 million before it sold. The other two homes are listed at $5.9 million and $6 million.

On the top of the Tucson market is the magnificent Campbell Cliffs Estate together with 20 acres of prime land wedged up against the Coronado National Forrest. The asking price is $22 million.
