This is just a brief list of available Condos/properties for sale that I found through the Internet and is given here for information purposes only. I am neither licensed to sell real estate in Mexico, nor inclined to do so. If you want to find a real estate agent who sells condos and homes in Rocky Point, please do your own research, or contact me and I'll refer you to an agent.

Meanwhile, from the above list, it looks like prices have somewhat gone down - at least now for $400K+ one can buy a penthouse, not just a regular 2 BR.

Still, considering the growing number of foreclosures and short sales in the US, I am doubtful American investment in Mexican real estate will continue uninterrupted. To me this means that prices are still yet to reach the bottom.

In a few months, I am planning to rent a Casita and take all the family for the next vacation. I am sure both boys will enjoy running on the sandy beach, while adults wouldn't bear any risk associated with the investment.

And who knows, at that time we might find something worthwhile the investment.

As always I find that a negative micro view of investments always over shadows the bigger more successful picture. Combine that with what's happening in the states and I will keep my beautiful piece of the beach at the Sonoran Sea and realize that like all investments, wether in my primary home in Tempe or Mexico, the work investment means risk, not guarantee!
Perhaps you are unaware of the large number of re-sale condos available at the Sonoran Sun, Sonoran Sea and Sonoran Spa. These are well established developments and due to the current real estate market many are priced as great buys. Once the market turns around, and it will, you will not be able to touch properties at current prices.
